Around the end of 2018, Teacher want all the Tsai Hsing DL students to attend the Next Vista competition. Because I love to eat desserts so me and Nancy decided to make tiramisu.
Tiramisu is a kind of coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It tastes delicious and it’s made of savoiardi dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa. The word “Tiramisu” means "pick me up" or "cheer me up". Its origins are often disputed among Italian regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
We went to a place that teaches us how to make desserts, no wonder is cookies or cakes. On Saturday, we went to this store. There is a lot of people in the store, and they are coming to make desserts, too. The teacher took us to the destination. And we can start making!
First, we have to wash our hands and put on our apron, than we have to go to the ingredients place and take our ingredients. The ingredients we need:flour, oil, Milk, yolk, lemon juice,sugar, egg white, Giledine, Fresh cream, Mascarpone, liqueur (Irish Cream liqueur) and Cocoa powder. We are going to make the cake first. We need to mix oil, milk, flour, and yolk together, and we also need to mix sugar, lemon juice and egg white together. Then, mix the two mixture together. Put the mixture in molds, and put the molds in the oven.
Next, we need yolk, sugar, water, and Giledine to make mousse. First we have to mix sugar and Giledine in water, and put it in microwave. Then mix syrup and yolk together. Next mix yolk,Fresh cream,Mascarpone and syrup in a bowl and put the bowl in fridge for 20 minutes. Take the cake out of the oven, and cut it in half. Brush some liqueur on the cake and put some mousse in the cup. Spread some cocoa powder. And we are done.
The tiramisu tastes great, although it’s a little expensive to make it by ourselves, we still love making it. I hope we can do the Next Vista video well,
and get a good grade on it.
